Welcome to this private and cozy apartment, not shared with anyone. The space is about 500 square feet (46 m2) and all on one floor (the first floor of a 2-story house). The apartment is not large, but it is private and has a private street entrance. You will have exclusive access to the apartment during your stay.
The apartment has one bedroom with a queen bed. The living room has a small sofa and a Fire TV. The kitchen is fully functional with ample cabinet space and a small dining table. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink. The house has basic amenities good for tourists, remote workers, business travelers, students, etc. We keep things simple and offer a competitive price. Conveniently walkable location near convenience stores, restaurants, bars, churches, etc. To travel to New York City via public transit (combination of bus and train), the journey takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Newark Airport (EWR) is about 60 minutes away using public transit. Near major highways like Garden State Parkway, Interstate 287, 440, NJ Turnpike. Staten Island is only 15 minutes away by car.
No parties, events, or smoking of any kind anywhere on the property -- rules are strictly enforced.
This listing does not include parking. The apartment does not have a driveway or any parking. Parking can be found on the streets and you do not need a permit to park. But, you must follow the directions on the street signs and find a legal place to park. You may not find a spot directly in front of the house and you may need to drive around the neighborhood to find a spot. We cannot be responsible for any parking tickets or violations you may receive.
Self check-in and check-out are available. There is a lockbox with keys at the property. You will receive the code to the lockbox in advance of your arrival but it will only become active at 4:00 pm on the day of check-in.
The check-in window is 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you are planning to arrive after 11:00 pm, you must clear this with us. We will not be available to support you during check-in if you arrive very late at night (after 11:00 pm) and we will not offer refunds if you have issues checking in after 11:00 pm.
Please also note that this is an older apartment. The space looks like the photos in the listing and we keep it clean. It is a basic space with basic amenities. If you are looking for a functional and competitively priced place relatively close to New York City and Newark Airport, this would be a good space for you. If you are looking for a modern and luxury stay, this is probably not the place for you.
